- Criminal records and rap sheets: contact the Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS Central Repository
- Arrest, booking, jail, and warrant records: contact the Dade County Sheriff at 201 E. Water St., Greenfield, MO 65661, 417-637-2312; call first because public counter hours were not verified
- Official background checks: use the Missouri Automated Criminal History Site through MSHP
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement: begin with the court that handled the case; Dade filings route through the Circuit Clerk
